Biography

Hi, I’m Jeff, or as most people call me, “Stange”

I was born and raised right here in the great city of Bay City Michigan, graduated from Garber High School. After graduation, I stuck around and coached Boys Varsity Tennis, along with attending Delta College where I studied Business.  I have had quite a range of jobs, from a car salesman to a job setter (coordinator) at Delphi, to running my own business, Stange’s Lawn and Snow. I ran my business for over 7 years. I take pride in my work, no matter what it is. When cutting lawns I would take pride and took the time to make sure all of the lines were as straight as possible, some said it even looked like the grass on a baseball diamond.

When not at work, you can find me out in about in the community.  I belong to many local leagues; softball, blooperball, golf, volleyball, and shuffleboard, to name a few.  I also enjoy heading up to the U.P. for some fishing, sightseeing or in the winter, some back country snowmobiling.

I love spending time with my friends and family. The simplest things in life give me the most pleasure: Grilling out making a great meal, enjoying my friends’ company. I’m the youngest child of my parents Bev and Mark Stange, which are the best parents anybody could ask for.  My mother is best known for her local businesses she had in Downtown Bay City. Country at Heart, Clothes Basket, and Classic Petite, were her passion. All unfortunately closed now, but she couldn’t stay away from retail, and now you can find her at Younkers in the Bay City Town Center.  My father, one of the best welders I know, was a welding instructor and now retired from Bay Arenac Skill Center, and still teaches at Delta College, along with running Stange’s Prop Repair for over 35 years on M-15. I also have an older brother, Brian, who followed a bit in the machining footsteps and works over at Snow Makers Inc. as a machinist, he is married to his lovely wife Terry, who along with being a dental hygienist, she is very active in the pet world, and helps local homeless pets find new homes.

I understand competition, and it’s presence in sports as well as real life.  Over the years I have learned to strive and produce under stressful situations and I typically overcome any situation by ending up on the winning side.  I can only think this has something to do with my strong work ethic. I truly believe good things come to people that work for it, not wait for it. You must work for the things you want. I am ready and willing to do the same for you, as my client.

I look forward to helping you, anywhere in the wonderful state of Michigan, from buying or selling your house in Bay City, finding you the perfect up North retreat, or locating a new office building for your business.  You can count on me to work harder and to handle any situation in the world of real estate with confidence and efficiency.
